Privacy and local processing

Showcase's standard recording, transcription, editing, project, and export workflows run locally. Source footage, transcripts, captions, and project files are not uploaded to 120.dev during those workflows.

Data kept on your device

• Imported and recorded video, audio, and images
• Transcripts, captions, edits, effects, thumbnails, and project metadata
• Temporary working files and exports
• Optional pointer and keyboard-event metadata when input-event recording is enabled

Input-event recording is off by default. Its key codes and timing can reveal sensitive activity, including activity outside the captured screen area. Avoid entering passwords or other sensitive information while it is enabled.

Online functions

Internet access is required for account access, downloads, billing, updates, and occasional licence verification. These functions process the account, subscription, entitlement, and technical information described in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting your account does not delete Showcase projects stored on your device. Delete those files through Showcase or your operating system.
