Get a free licence

1. Visit the 120 HN pricing section.
2. Select Get License.
3. Complete the free licence flow and keep access to the email address you use.

Install

1. Visit the download section.
2. Download the installer for macOS on Apple silicon, macOS on Intel, or Windows x86_64.
3. Open the installer and follow your operating system's prompts.

Linux availability has not been announced.

Connect an AI provider

120 HN can use your own cloud-provider API key or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Open the app settings, choose a provider, and enter its API key or local endpoint.

Cloud-provider pricing, limits, and privacy terms apply to requests sent to that provider. Local models keep model processing on your computer, subject to the local software you install.

Use summaries

Open a story or comment thread, then choose the available summarization or analysis action. Review generated summaries against the source before relying on them.
