Hardware and storage
Recording, transcription, preview generation, and export use your device's processor, memory, graphics, and storage. Keep free space for source footage, project files, temporary previews, and exports. Higher-resolution media and longer projects use more resources. H.265 export depends on an available encoder, and ProRes 422 HQ export is limited to macOS.
Connectivity
Editing, transcription, and export run locally. Internet access is still required for account access, downloads, billing, updates, and occasional licence verification.
